Front page fonts are fuzzy; inside pages sharp

Hi,
Both of our uploaded images have bitmapped fonts on the front page/vector fonts inside. I have re-uploaded the Fall 2017 issue multiple times and followed directions for creating a PDF from InDesign without any improvement.

    Hi there

The conversion result did not completely match the version from the uploaded pdf. The reason for this could be that there is some text hidden behind an image or partially overlapped by an image.

Each time we convert a page, we run a test to make sure that the conversion went well, and the converted version will be displayed exactly as the version uploaded by you. If that is not the case we show the uploaded version instead of the converted version, and that is what’s wrong with your publicatio.

As you can see that the conversion really improve the reading experience in the following publication:

And that is what we at issuu aim for with the new reading experience. The conversion is something we are working on and will continuously be better over time. In the meantime, feel free to check that there is no invisible text or text being overlapped on the pages in question in the original file. Should you find this you can just re-upload the document with no invisible text and that should improve it.

We really appreciate your feedback, it is very valuable for us in order to improve the conversion of documents uploaded to issuu.
